It is great to be able to welcome another suspension alternative to the european market. The ST brand will also not only be offering suspension kits but wheel spacers and sway bars, too.
Another highlight was the DTM exhibition to celebrate 30 years of DTM, showcasing lots of previous DTM championship winning cars like this Alfa 155.
Or this E30 M3… I could’ve stared for hours at this car. There’s just something about the E30 lines and the M stripe paintjob that is breathtaking.
They flew in the famous lowrider ‘El Rey’… I was absolutely stunned at the workmanship that went into this thing.
I mean seriously, this is madness. It’s incredible workmanship at the same time. The paintjob was absolutely flawless.
As is usually the case with such events, you could find lots of vendors selling some things too. Be it tools, accesoires, clothing or model cars as seen here. I actually couldn’t resist and picked up two small vintage racing Porsches for my desk.
Of course you had lots of vendors selling car parts too, many of them specializing in vintage stuff.
Speaking of vintage stuff… I was really happy to see a collection of vintage hot and rat rots at the show!
The most unique of these had to be this – a Mercedes rat rod packing Mopar power!
In stark contrast to the rat rods above, just the next hall over there was a drift show being held. As you can see, Essen really offers a diverse selection for everyone!
